The moana | ocean, whenua | land and landscapes around Waihī Beach are part of the everyday world of our tamariki | children.
From the beach on our doorstep to Ōtawhiwhi and Tūhua | Mayor Island beyond, children have opportunities to learn that the places around them hold stories, history and knowledge.
As they move through our kura | school, we want them to build a deeper understanding of the place they call home, the people who have come before them and the stories connected to the places they see every day.
