Te amorangi ki mua, te hāpai ō ki muri | The leader at the front and the workers behind the scenes.
All of New Zealand’s state and state-integrated schools have a Poari Kaitiaki | Board of Trustees. Our Board supports our school to thrive and is responsible for monitoring and reviewing our school and its progress. Board members are elected as part of Board Elections held in schools every 3 years. During 2023, Te Kura Tātahi o Waihī | Waihī Beach School worked toward securing a permanent hapū seat to support the governance of our school as we are deeply committed to the aspirations of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
