Costs at school
Te Kura Tātahi o Waihī | Waihī Beach School participates in the Government’s school donations scheme. This means we do not ask whānau | families for general school donations or payment for curriculum related activities covered by the scheme.
There may still be costs associated with optional activities and experiences, such as camps, sports, cultural activities and competitions. When a cost applies, whānau | families will be given the relevant information before their child takes part.
If you would like to contribute towards another child’s costs, this is always appreciated. You can make a contribution through the school office, who will allocate it to a family where it is needed.
Paying with Kindo
Kindo is our online payment platform for school and PTA purchases, giving whānau | families one easy place to manage payments, activities and registrations.
Kindo can be used to:
- make school and PTA payments
- pay for activities and events
- register for selected activities
- purchase PTA fundraising items
Need some help?
If the cost of an activity is making it difficult for your child to take part, please talk to us. We want our tamariki | children to be able to access the opportunities available to them.
